This PUR water filter works with a wide variety of refrigerator brands, including Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid, Maytag, Amana, Jenn-Air, and other Whirlpool manufactured brands.
You should replace the filter every six months, though filter life may vary depending on use and local water conditions.
Do not use with water that is micro-biologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
Systems that are certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain filterable cysts. Individuals requiring water of certain microbiological purity should consult their physician.
Provides 100 gallons or up to 6 months of clean filtered water and ice per filter. Fits all refrigerators with a Push Button In-Grille water filter.
